- Open the app and sign in to your account
- Go to Settings — tap the gear/settings icon, usually found in the bottom navigation bar or profile screen
- Scroll to "Account" section at the bottom of the Settings screen
- Tap "Delete Account" — this will be shown in red text
- Confirm deletion — you will be asked to confirm. Enter your password or re-authenticate if prompted
- Account deleted — your account and all data will be permanently removed
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
If you are unable to access the app or your account, you can request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to support@eywasoft.co.uk
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- Include the name of the app (e.g., WordWiz, Life in the UK, Topograf)
We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account information — email, display name, authentication record (Firebase Authentication)
- Profile data — all child profiles, avatars, and settings (Cloud Firestore)
- Progress & achievements — game scores, streaks, word mastery, achievements
- User-generated content — saved stories, writing submissions, notes
- Uploaded files — audio feedback files, scanned images (Cloud Storage)
- Classroom data — if you are a teacher, your classrooms and assignments
- Subscription data — your subscription record in our system
- Anonymised analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for reporting
- App store records — purchase and download history is managed by Google Play / Apple and is not under our control
- Active subscriptions — you must cancel subscriptions through your Google Play or Apple ID account settings to avoid continued billing
- In-app deletion: Immediate — your data is deleted as soon as you confirm
- Email request: Within 30 days of receiving your verified request
- Backup purge: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently purged
WordWiz
Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will delete the parent account and all child profiles associated with it. If you only want to remove a child profile (not the entire account), go to Settings → Manage Children → select the child → Remove Profile.
Life in the UK Study 2026
Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will delete your account and all study progress, test scores, and saved data.
Germany Einbürgerungstest 2026
Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will delete your account and all study progress.
Topograf
Settings → Account → Delete Account. Note: any locally stored survey data on your device will not be affected by account deletion. You may need to manually clear app data from your device settings.
